Created to teach kids the five steps to water safety, Laurie Lawrence's Kids Alive show has a colourful cast of characters including Lifesaver Lil, Wise Owl and naughty Boo.
The show conveys the Kids Alive - Do the five water safety message by performing the tale of Boo, a naughty alien who does not believe in water safety. One day boo falls into the pool and he doesn't know how to swim. Luckily, Wise Owl and Lifesaver Lil were supervising and knew resuscitation to save him.

You cannot underestimate how much information children, even at a very early age can absorb. Teaching them the simple Kids Alive steps to water safety is crucial in arming them against childhood drowning. Once children learn the message, they even teach their younger siblings, parents and grandparents".
