Kids Alive – Do the Five, is excited to showcase the Frog Squad At the Splash Pad. The Frog Squad is all about creative and playful learning experiences for children under the age of 5. The project importantly raises the awareness of water safety by using storytelling, children’s music, active movement and multi-sensory play to engage young children. The initiative provides the community with a safe, educational experience where they can build connections with other families in their community while they learn about water safety.
The aim of this training module is to showcase a successful water safety outreach program delivered by Logan Libraries First Five Forever team. The innovative initiative explores ways for local organisations to join forces to educate children under the age of 5. We hope this case study gives you ideas and inspiration on how your organisation may be able to deliver an exciting water safety program in your community. We understand that every community is different and sessions can be contextualised to your individual requirements. By working together we can save lives!
This training module will be enjoyed by Library Services, Swim Schools, Playgroups and Community Organisations who regularly engage with children under the age of 5 and their families.
