Register now for your free online CPR course – it could help you save a life.
Kids Alive is once again getting behind the April Pools Day campaign, held throughout April 2019, to encourage Australians to learn the lifesaving skill of CPR.
Our partner Poolwerx has teamed with Australian Red Cross to put lifesaving skills in your hands, by offering you a free online CPR course on the basic skills for resuscitating babies, young children and adults.
A recent survey of pool owners by Poolwerx revealed that almost 60% said they did not have current CPR qualifications, despite 37% saying they or someone close to them had a life threatening experience with water.
As parents and pool owners, it’s up to us to take control and learn CPR, for the sake of our loved ones. A child is four times more likely to survive a submersion incident if given CPR immediately.
The online course only takes a few hours and you can register throughout the month of April at https://www.poolwerx.com.au/april-pools-day/. Once registered, you will be sent a login from Australian Red Cross, valid until May 31 2019, that will allow you to complete the course.
