Learn to Swim Week
On behalf of Poolwerx and Kids Alive, we’re inviting you to help celebrate the start of the swimming season with National Learn to Swim Week 2014 (September 29 – October 3, 2014).
What is National Learn to Swim Week 2014?
National Learn to Swim Week 2014 is an inaugural awareness week during the September school holidays aimed at educating Australians on the importance of teaching kids aged under five to swim and the importance of water safety.
During National Learn to Swim Week 2014, free learn to swim lessons will be offered to children aged under five at participating swim centres across the country. Through the Poolwerx national footprint, local pool care experts will partner with participating swim centres to also promote best practice in pool safety.
The awareness week will be kick-started by National Learn to Swim Day on Monday, 29th September – the first week all states in Australia are on school holidays
Who is involved in National Learn to Swim Week 2014?
National Learn to Swim Week 2014 is an initiative of national pool and spa care network Poolwerx and water safety program Kids Alive, and it will be hosted in partnership with national swim school partners.
