Spring into Water Safety with Kids Alive and Ready Set Dance

Kids Alive is excited to announce the expansion of our interactive water safety education program in partnership with Ready Set Dance (RSD). With over 250 RSD locations across Australia, this initiative brings essential water safety messages to life through fun and engaging song and dance.

Although drowning rates among children aged 0-4 have decreased by 6% over the past year, our goal remains zero drownings. This partnership is crucial in reaching more children with life-saving lessons in a memorable way. Our collaboration with Ready Set Dance ensures that water safety becomes a natural and everyday part of young children’s lives.

The water safety shows will be hosted at local early education centres and community groups starting September 1. These shows address key safety hazards by emphasising constant adult supervision and safety in various environments, from home, pools, farms and to beaches.

Educators and community groups are encouraged to organise an interactive water safety show through your local Ready Set Dance studio
