Spring Safe Storytime

Welcome to the Spring Safe Storytime Campaign, presented by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and the Australian Public Library Alliance (APLA) in partnership with Kids Alive Do the Five. Following the success of our last campaign with over 700 libraries across Australia participating, we are excited to return bigger and better. Join us in making a splash in Spring 2026 by hosting engaging and educational water safety-themed storytime sessions for young children and families across Australia. Every year, preventable drownings impact Australian communities, and this campaign offers a unique opportunity to combine literacy promotion with water safety messages.
