A Seasonal Reminder for Grown-Ups

As celebrations get busy, supervision can become harder—yet it’s the most important way to keep kids safe when in and around water.

Drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death in Australian children aged 0–4, with backyard swimming pools being the most common location.

This makes Christmas a crucial time to:

  • Maintain active adult supervision around all water
  • Keep pool fences and gates in good working order
  • Remove climbable objects from near pool barriers
  • Teach children to swim
  • Reinforce water safety rules

Our new Christmas Activity Book helps reinforce water safety in a fun, child-friendly, and memorable way.
